Score Tracker for Cognitive Test Scores

This tool allows you to plot changes in cognitive test scores over time. The tool uses confidence intervals to allow you to see, visually, whether apparent changes are within normal measurement error. For that reason, you need to either enter the test reliability or directly enter the confidence limits yourself.

To test whether the changes that you see are statistically significant, you can use our reliable change tools in the analysis section of the site.

Step 1: Choose scale and confidence interval

Y axis scale Choose the scale that matches the scores you plan to enter.

Confidence interval Use the same CI level that the test manual recommends.

Step 2: Add tests

Test name This label will appear in the legend and on the chart.

Use reliability (calculate CI from r) Manual CI (you will enter limits)

Reliability coefficient (0–1) Use the appropriate reliability for this test and age band.

Step 3: Enter time points

You can add multiple time points (T1, T2, T3…) for each test and edit the labels to add dates. If you select manual CI, enter the lower and upper bounds yourself.
