Embedded Validity Calculator

A simple scorer for common embedded validity measures for the WAIS and WMS. There are a wide range of embedded validity measures, including several (e.g. RCFT recognition) where we consider the evidence as not particularly strong. Here, we have included three embedded measures with a stronger research base: Reliable Digit Span (RDS for WAIS), Digit Span “Age Corrected Scaled Score” (ACSS for WAIS), and Logical Memory Recognition false positives (LMR-FP for WMS-IV).

These indices are embedded validity measures, not stand-alone diagnostic tools. They should be interpreted alongside dedicated PVTs/SVTs, clinical history, behavioural observations, and the wider test battery.
